Having been raised in the Texas Panhandle and calling the area home for the past 48 years, I have a deep appreciation for Amarillo, the surrounding communities, and the people who make this region such a great place to live. After graduating from Texas Tech University, my wife Anna and I made the decision to raise our family here, and for the past 37 years we have done just that. Today, we are proud empty nesters after seeing our youngest child graduate from college and get married. Between our five incredible children, eleven wonderful grandchildren ranging from 8 years old to 8 months old, and our two Labradoodles, life continues to be full of activity, laughter, and memorable moments. In my spare time, I enjoy tennis, pickleball, hiking, home remodeling projects, and entertaining the grandkids. Fun fact: I have an identical twin brother, and people still mistake us for each other.
